- 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare)
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (dark preferred)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar; brush half onto the ribs.
- Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, cover tightly with foil, and bake for about 3 hours.
- Uncover, baste with remaining sauce, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
