Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Stir in sourdough starter and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spaced two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers appear slightly underbaked.
- Allow cookies to cool on wire racks before serving.
