Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Gather all ingredients and preheat your skillet over medium-high heat.
- Smash the patties: Form ground beef into golf ball-sized balls. Place them in the hot skillet and smash down with a spatula. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add cheese: Flip patties over, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, cover skillet for about a minute until melted.
- Assemble tacos: Place lettuce at the bottom of taco shells, add cheesy patties, then top with diced tomatoes and salsa.
- Finish with toppings: Add sour cream and pickles if desired.
