Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ¾ cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

- Make a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour in the buttermilk and melted butter. Mix gently until just combined—the dough should be sticky.

- Transfer the loaf to the prepared baking sheet and score an 'X' on top with a sharp knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
