- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat together eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, heat heavy cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl; let sit for a few minutes before stirring until smooth.
- Once cupcakes are cool, drizzle or fully coat them in ganache.
