Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently to distribute them evenly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center. Allow cooling before slicing.
