- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 7-10 minutes per side until golden brown. Let rest, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain.
- In another pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth, then gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened (about 5 minutes). Stir in cheese until melted.
- Combine pasta, chicken, and cheese sauce in a greased baking dish. Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake for 25 minutes until bubbling. Serve hot.
