Ingredients
- 2 cups glutinous rice
- 1 can (13.5 oz) coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Rinse glutinous rice under cold water until clear; soak for at least 1 hour.
- In a pot, combine soaked rice with fresh water (twice the rice volume). Cook on low heat until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
- In another pot, mix coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until dissolved.
- Combine cooked rice with the coconut mixture; stir until evenly coated.
- Cook on low heat, stirring constantly for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- Transfer to a greased dish, smooth the top, and cool completely before slicing into squares.
Notes
