- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup hot honey sauce (honey mixed with chili flakes)
Instructions
- Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In one bowl, combine flour and cornstarch. In another bowl, beat eggs until smooth.
- Dip each shrimp in the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mix, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry shrimp in batches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and drizzle with hot honey sauce before serving.
