Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, sliced thin
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant; add shrimp with half the Cajun seasoning. Cook until pink (3-4 minutes) then remove.
- In the same skillet, melt another tablespoon of butter; add sliced steak with remaining seasoning. Sear until browned (4-5 minutes) then remove.
- Lower heat; add heavy cream to the skillet and scrape up brown bits. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Combine shrimp, steak, and pasta in the sauce; toss to coat well.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
