Ingredients
- Ribeye or sirloin steak
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh minced garlic
- Unsalted butter
- Heavy cream
- Chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper; let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, lower heat, add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream while stirring; simmer for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Return the steak to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and cook together for another minute.
- Serve on plates with remaining sauce drizzled on top, garnished with parsley.
